Cynarina lacrymailis (button or cats eye coral)

Although considered generally hardy I have only attempted to keep one previously with no luck. My LFS had this one so I decided to give it one more try. I really like this coral as it is peaceful solitary and displays large water filled lobes during the day

Thats a nice specimen you have there. From my reading this is a type of brain correct, very hardy and a nice addtion. high/ moderate lightingIf I remember.

I had one once.....seemed to flourish for months....then all of a sudden....it started going down hill....and later died

I do not seem to have good luck with brains....I have a couple right now.....keep fingers crossed...LOL

Suppliment Calcium, Strontium, Trace Elements are very impotant with these critters, but I'm sure you probably knew this though. Still learning myself
