Cyno on rear glass

Does anyone else have this problem? I have plenty of flow it just seems I have this stuff growing on the rear glass. Any suggestions? 3 powerheads, fluval 305, skimmer. 46 gallon tank.

cyano can thrive in nutrient rich enviroments even if u have alot of flow
is there alot of light towards the back of your tank

I have PC's. There is no more light in the rear than the front. But....I am scraping the tank a lot and what I think is cyno is coming off. Suggestions?

the only thing i can suggest is to feed less , do more water changes and cut your lights down till its gone . try to siphon as much as possible when doing a water change also using phosgaurd works really well

Erythromycin tablets its an antibiotic, you should be able to buy them at most FS or on the web do a search. The dosage I used is 1 tab per 10 gals of water, in 24 to 48 hrs it should all be dead, if not repeat the dose. After each dosage and the 24 to 48 hr time period has elapsed do a water change, before dosing again.
Your killing bacteria and if you have alot in your tank your amonia levels can spike thats why you do the water change.
