The problem I have is this.
My daughter walks home from school everyday and gives me a call on the phone telling me there is water on the basement carpet. Well I say....I am driving bus and can't just head for home so I tell her to unplug the fishtank. I get home to find out that when I moved the fishtank over so I could build the new one I must have hit the return line to the canister filter below and caused the line to come off. It must have come off after I had left for the bus garage. I ask her "How much water is in the fish tank?" She replies about "Half"....Well I start thinking......pondering.......thinking.......must be down to the input of the canister filter hose. About 20 gallons. Great I say....When I get home I find my thoughts to be exact. 20 Gallons on the NEW carpet. Well I got the rock out of the tank, and placed into a tub with saltwater. I got the tank moved onto the "incomplete" stand. Not even stained yet. Got the filter and such things up and running until I get the other stuff made. Got the water sucked up with the use of a carpet machine and shop vac. I will now see how the carpet dries....It is a NEW Legato Carpet Square system...so if it don't turn out I did get 4 extra boxes of the stuff.....was spose to be for doggy accidents and kid accidents...but this will count to I guess.
Here are the pictures of the tank on the new stand, tub full of rock and wet carpet.
