damsel dilemma

Hello Everyone, Yesterday I went to my LFS and bought a black and gold chromis. Well after a little bit of reserch I found out it is a damsel not a chromis, I know they are in the same family but I do want to get more fish can I do so with its semi-aggresive behavior or did I make a mistake?

All depends on the fish -- it may or may not be aggressive due to the individual fish and size of the tank.

It is only a 33g long tank.
