I have this damsel- he is tan with 2 black spots and some electric blue on him- I don't know what kind he is- but in the last 2 weeks he has killed our Yellow Tang, Coral Beauty, a cleaner shrimp(2 hours after we put it in the tank), and now he has scared our emerald crabs into hiding, he keeps knockin the snails off the glass, and he is CONSTANTLY chasing and biting our yellow tailed Damsel. I want to get rid of him- beofre he kills our clown, but I am afraid that if we do- the yellow tailed Damsel may just pick up where he left off. Should I get rid of both of them, or just wait and see? He has cost us a lot of money I don't want to risk anything happening to the clown- he's my favorite!! :help:

IMO I would get rid of all your damsels, I started this hobby when the oldschool way of cycling was done with damsels, I started with like 10 and ended with 2 I felt so bad, putting them through the torture that I caused, I kept them big mistake. They were the most aggressive fish I ever had, killed or tried to kill everything I ever added.
keep in mind this is just my opinon

IMO if you have any docile fish in your tank you should not have a damsel. Even if they'rea added last they'll still take over the tank. Unless you get really lucky, the only way to get them out is to remove most, if not all of your LR and corner them. Hopefully you have a big net.
