Damsel fish lost its stripe!

Hello, Everyone well i have about maybe a month with my new saltwater tank setup and my first fish were obviously the damsel fish with the blue neon lines and a white line going straight down its body i have two of them but recently i noticed that on one of them the white line vanished away, why did this happen? Thanks..

Did the color of the entire fish fade?

The entire color of the fish did fade away only the white line,I had asked my cousin what happened hes been into the hobby for over 6 years now and he said it was a disease, i went to my LFS and they said they same thing, but the Damsel fish and my clown fish look very happy with no signs of weakness or sickness.
