Well over the last week and a half my 3 spot domino damsel is getting hosted by my 6 inch purple tip anemone. Its acting like a clownfish in an anemone. It runs through the tentacles like nothing but when i first got it, the purple tip would sting the damsel. I know the purple tip is still stinging cause my pride and joy octopus cant toch it. What is going on? Please help.
Thanx

Completely normal and not uncommon. They also do this in the wild. Clownfish are in the same family as damsels.

Damsels are anemone fish also, but you won't have to worry about the damsel for long with an octopus in there.

suprisingly i keep him well fed and everything lives. Not a single hermit crab has been eatin. Its almost like a mutualistic realitionship. Minus when the blue devil gets too close and the octo warns it.
