This is a real story for all the damsel haters out there. My first tank was a FO tank a few years ago and after cycling it I decided to get some reef fish from the ocean near my house, so I went snorkling and all I could catch were these wrasse like fish which were about 4-5 inches long, I caught a brittle star also. I went home and put them in the tank and within 3 seconds they had gone and burried themselves in the CC so I was like damn I got fish but I cant see them. A few days went by and they never came out so I went to the LFS and bought 4 blue damsels just to have some movement around the tank. After aclimating them I went ahead and put them in and to my surprise after about 3 seconds of them being in there the two wrasse like fish darted out from the CC bed heading directly to the surface and atacked the damsels bitting chunks out of them off till there was nothing left. This all happened in less than 10 seconds after which they darted back down to burry themselves in the CC. Those guys must have been hungry as hell
