As far as lights I am running Coralife Lunar Aqualight Deluxe Series-36" (2X96W) with 2- 3/4W Blue-Moon-Glow LED Lamps. I will probably get yelled at for keeping what I am keeping under PC, but I am happy with it so far. I did a lot of homework on lighting and different types of corals and came to the conclusion that not all corals, including SPS need MH lighting. The Hawkins I got is a deep water SPS, so it will do better under moderate lighting anyhow. Basically I have been trying a little of everything, softies, LPS, and SPS, with small inexpensive frags to see how the grow etc.. and so far all is doing good.
In regards to drilling, if you are getting the overflow box with the teeth, make your measurement from the top of the tank to the bottom of the groove, not the top of the overflow box like I did.
Just follow the directions that they send, make a ring of plumbers putty and fill with water, and then have fun. Oh and place something on the other side for when it falls through. Take your time drilling and it comes out pretty good.

Just want to update with a FTS. Ive had good growth on my Hawkins since I got it last month, and is maintaining its color good. Did some minor rearranging of some corals, and epoxied a few in place that the snails seem to knock over. I will be ordering some new light bulbs this week and am thinking about going with the Current USA Sunpaq 10K and the 420/460 Actinic mixed bulb. Lastly I added in a picture of my leather.
