Good afternoon! Anyone have any experience with this frozen food?
I got some clove polyps and while I was there, lfs reccomended it as a great food for eveything anyway. I used it twice now and it really seems to get into everything.
Also...am I overfeeding? Here is whatI am feeding once a day:
1/3 cube ocean nutritionals frozen brine shrimp
1/3 cube ocean nutritionals frozen algae with garlic
tiny tiny pinch of brine flake
small cut-size of eraser-of daphnia
I put the 3 frozen in a salad clip grid feeder, and drop the flake in
fish:
yellow tang
blue chromis
yellow fin? damsel
(2) 4-stripe damsel
2 false perc clowns
2 brittle stars
cb shrimp
2 Anemone
2 large zebra hermit
20 blue leg and scarlets
20 turbos
2 larger snails
3 emerald crabs
1 strawberry crab
clump of clove polyps
clump of zoos

from your list of livestock i would not know whether they enjoy the daphnia or not. i have benefitted greatly from it with my corals. why? they are smallenough that i am almost garanteed that all of my coral get atleast a little bit of something to eat. i am not an overfeeder, since it leads to fowling and higher maintenance. i feed twice daily small portions. i do not feed with snails and hermits in the equation let them find whatever they can when the fish are done. if it takes your fish more than 2 minuetes to eat what your serving cut back! its not worth the blooms of algea youll end up with. and if your fish dont seem to go at it dont use it. try mega marine by hikari. its a nice mix and with a dash of garlic guard they love it! :cheer:
