Darn Diamond Gobies keep jumping out.

I've bought to diamond gobies that have jumped out in suicide and i'm trying to stop them because its getting very upsetting. I tried using eggcrate but the fish made it through that. Any good suggestions on how to keep them in the tank. Also I think the second may of jumped out because the temperature jumped up 2-3 degrees while I was on vacation. going to fix that problem. I appreciate any suggestions

you can buy pond netting and make a lid out of that....or cover the eggcrate with it

get some smaller CLEAR mesh!!!

How shallow is this tank? I only had one diamond goby that went carpet surfing. I also have moonlights, I read someplace they get spooked at night and jump.
