been dealing with it since saturday in my 20. i've sucked out half the water, i've kept the pumps on, turned em off, everything. just so silty it's disgusting. it's settling in the buckets, but not in the tank :(

Ahhhhh cool!
Do you have any live rock in there? Just let it storm for a while, there's nothing in there to see anyway. The bacteria will colonize the particles soon enough and then it will be crystal clear.

got some base rock in there, didn't want to put the live rock in there till the sand storm was gone. guess i'll put some in.

Now's the best time to put in LR. This will give it time to fully cure before you start putting in anything else.
