Day 5 and still no response from SWF

On the 18th I ordered my Annularis with this website and e-mailed them about my order - Saturday delivery and a few other general questions about the fish I ordered. I still have not heard back from them. Is their service always this slow? If I don't hear something soon I'm just going to cancel my order. All I've gotten so far is an automated response from my online order. Who has ordered from here with good results? Who has ordered from here with bad results?
 
i have always had amazing results from here.. havnt lost a fish yet.. i order almost all of my livestock here and they always arrive happy and rearing to go..
you have to understand that they are SUPER BUISY>>...im sure you will receive a response..
remember if you order on friday you probably wont get your items until tuesday or wednesday.. as in the best interest of the fish.. theyll come..

That's good to know. That was my question - whether they could deliver on Saturdays or not. I read on here somewhere that it was an option, but to add it to my description on my order sheet. I just want to make sure they got that message mainly, because I'm not home through the week.
 
ya i have ordered from here on a friday once and i got my items the following wednesday.. they must have had a big order process going on right now.. you know with the free magazine thing going on and all.. plus what other place gives you free items with your next live orders??? none that i know of..

There are so many variables when dealing with live fish and trying to keep costs down. I have nothing but good things to say about their service & livestock. Communication can be a problem, but that a trade-off for the low price and excellent guarantee. ( I assume). One thing that may help: if you add info to a "pending" order, they do pay attention, but don't acknowledge it. So if you added "sat" delivery, that's when you will PROBABLY get it...but always keep checking and watch for the shipping confirmation e-mail.

Yep, some times hit or miss. I had asked about if it was safe to add the water from a yellow gorgonian I order (rumors about it not being safe to expose to air). The reply back was pretty much 'add to tank'

You spent some good coin on a fish, I'm sure they will get back asap.

Finally got a response back today. They answered all my questions and are going to accomodate me on Sat. Delivery, costs me $15 extra. It really ain't free shipping if you add in the $10 surcharge, plus the $10 fuel surchage, plus the Sat. deliver $15 - that's $35. Lordy, I hope it's worth it. It would have been better if I needed several fish and I could have combined shipping.

Find a friend & combine orders. BTW, the fuel surcharge and sat. del. charge are strictly Fed-Ex charges; in addition to the standard fed-ex rate.
