DC's new 12g Aquapod nano reef setup

So I can really start to see a layer of proteins/organics on the surface. Anyone have suggestions on how to get rid of this? I have good surface flow too.

Also, I was thinking of adding a biocube nano skimmer to one of the back chamber. Anyone have any advice/expierence with these?

no. those skimmers dont work. by doing weekly water changes its good. also get a bristle worm trap

There are way to many in the 55 for a trap to be effective. Most of them are small, however the bigger ones I do not want in there.

So my peppermint shrimp are taking out my snails one by one. Down to 3 left. Is there any type of snails that pep shrimp do not eat?

So I think Im going to use a HOB filter for my fuge. Is the Taam Rio Mini Sun any good? Im trying to get a light from the dr's website since I have to order some other things aswell. Thanks

Alright, so I recently ordered some stuff from here (pics coming soon) and got a sally lightfoot crab for free. My question is, will it bother anything in my tank? Like the shrimp, or crabs, etc. Thanks and pics coming soon!
