dead coral skeletons?

I just got this dead coral skeletons are they safe for sw reef aquariums/can I turn them into DIY live rock. If they're not safe in sw can I keep them in fw aquariums?

im shure they are ok if they dont have any kind of bleach or lacker on them. unless you got them from a fish store, then i woudnt put them in just to be safe, but if you cleaned them realy good i dont think it will be to much of a problem

concidering that is what's used for media in a calcium reactor shouldn't be a problem as long as, like above, it doesn't have any substances on it that shouldn't be there.

They should be fine but they will quickly become covered in algea and require you to take out and bleach on a regular basis.
