Dead Damsel

I've had this damsel for almost a year and a half, it's the Sergeant Major (the fs calls it). It died yesterday. I called the fs to ask why it may have died and they said old age that damsels usually don't live that long. Is that true?

your LFS just told you a bunch of stupid things. What are you water parameters ?

God I wish my Blue fin damsel would just die!! the little guy is too fast to catch without tearing the tank apart...he is sooo mean...the only one who stands up to it is my Yellow tang! if you can catch mine you can have it!! sorry for ur loss....

a while back we figured something out about damsels in your tank that you want out.....
rent a angler take out all the fish you want to keep throw a angler in there and whammo no more stray damsel. hehehe

I have two other damsels, two clowns, a six line wrase and a flame angel. I was hoping the mean damsel would die. I'm wanting to get the other two out of there before I add anymore fish. I'm wanting to get two regal tangs, but need to at least get the yellow damsel out of there because it likes to bully the new fish.

I would...Isaw a nice yellow angler yesterday for 16$...but it would eat my manderine...midas blenny and lord only knows what else....and for my luck never get the stupid Damsel....If you find an easy way to catch them without tearing the tank apart! let me kno!!
