Dead fish but better coral?

Today I found my clown dead in my 12 gallon reef tank. He was swimming fine, eating OK, just seem normal. Well, I found him dead between some rocks. Later at on I found this hitchhiker crab dead also. At first I was freak, but then it had this stiff still. it red with black tips claws. Ever since that, my frogspawn coral double it's size. And my zoo grew like 3 new head. All in one day!
My water seem fine. The temp when down a few degrees over night. However my coral has gotten better, but my clown fish die.
Ammonia: 0
Ph: 8.3
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0
Temp: 79-82f

I am not sure that things "grew" but perhaps opened more. Did your clown host in the frogspawn?

yeah I think that what happpen my coral opean alot more.
No never seen my clown tried to host my frogspwan.
I am worry about how it die. And the red crab.

Also I forgot to add my clown fish got this bite wound from a Strawberry Gramma fish. And it had ick.
The bite wound was all white and look like a wart.
