dead fishes

I just don't know what to do anymore. Came back from vacation 3 days ago and found out that all of my fish got really bad ick. This morning, my Powder drown Tang and Dot dash butterfly died :( . My yellow Tang looks like it's going to died soon too and I don't know what to do. I've been treating it with Kick Ick and raising the temperature but that doesn't seems to help. I've also did a 30% water change. Now the only fish I have left are the Yellow Tang (very sick) Mandarin dragonet (looks fine) and scooter Blenny (looks fine) and two Peppermint shrimp and a Cleaner shrimp.
How do I get rid of all of the ick or deseases in my main tank without killing my LS and LR once I remove all the fishes to the QT tank? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I'll chime in before some of the sharks do. Many people believe that Kick Ick will do abolutely nothing for your fish. You CAN try RXP and Poly X for a short term solution. Some people say it works great, others say it fixes short term... I have no experience with that. Then there is copper, hard on your fish and will kill any invert. It's a bear to get out of the tank also. You'll need a QT if your gonna do that. Then there is HypoSalinty, which is explained in "Ick Dissappeared?!". Check it out. HTH

The long term answer is to QT all new fish before placing them in your display. If you do this appropriately, ich will never enter your main tank.
The current solution is to QT the remaining fish and treat with hyposalinity. For QT info, take a look at the FAQ section at the top of this forum.

yes yes yes hyposalinity works. Just dont do what i did. I lowered the salinity and kept it lowered for about 2 months. Flame Angel did not make it through that. I guess that is what killed him but i am not sure. He developed this white spot and then the next day he was a goner. But my puffer and my sailfin look great now and they are back in the display tank

Let it run fishless for a month. Calendar it. The parasites will die off.
