i came home after being on the road for a week and found my pink under a rock dead and gooey. i had noticed ever since i bought him that he never stayed in one place too long and was always moving around. couple questions...
1) is there any anemones that will stay put in one place?
2) if there is, will they accept clowns?
by the way, when i scooped him out with my net, i can honestly tell you that it was the WORST smell i have EVER smelled!!!

I'd do a large waterchange and run carbon if possible, just in case it released toxins into the water when it died. :D

Carpet anemonies don't move around too much. They can host most clownfish. Bigarn, this is kinda a random question, but are clownfish a type of damsel?

If they're moving around, the spot that you want them does not meet their requirements. Flow/lighting/neighbors, ect.
