Several months ago I puchased a sand sifting star.
It died within two months.
I did not know they ate all the benificial creatures in the sand bedand would eventually starve.
Should I be concerned about the state of my live sand bed
If so what does anyone recommend.
Since it died my sand has slowly turned a light brown in color.
My parameters
PH=8.1
SG=1.023
AMMOINIA= 0
NITRITE= 0
NITRATE < 5
