You could always get one of those nurse sharks if you make a whole wall a tank.... i hear they can get 12 to 14 feet long (still not sure why stores sell em). I had a domino damsel that was deadly, but only to its tankmates, not visitors so that might not be what you are looking for.

You're going about this the wrong way. First you must determine where a burglar is most likely to enter.
Example: if you live on the 3rd floor of an apartment building, the door would be the logical choice.
Then you place the aquarium next to the entry point. There should be no cover on this aquarium. You should then rig up a system involving a bungee cord, a very small harness, springs are good too. What you are trying to achieve is when the door (or window) is opened it will trigger the bungee cord into action. The other end, in the small harness should be an octopus. That way, the burglar will get a live octopus smack in the face. You could of course, use a dead octopus....the dead smell factor could work to your advantage, but I think the live octo would give the added bonus of suctioning itself to the burglars face. Make it a blue ringed octopus and you now have a very deadly trap!
JUST KIDDING.......KID'S DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!!!! <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />

fishymissy-lmoa! I'll remember that when I have a house.... My clown enjoyed killing her tank mates, but never bit me (rule of thumb, never bite the hand that feeds you...)
