well i didint see a thread for this
death penalty
i know alot of people will say that it cost the same amount to house a death row inmate as it is to execute them
i think that is untrue
rope is cheap among other things
also you can never be sure they wont kill again
whether it be other inmates or guards
i am personally pro death penalty only if they have dna proof or an impossible chance of being wrong
i also think rapists should be executed
some people may say that it is race related if people get the death penalty
i believe, im not sure on recent today numbers
that there are more black men on death row then white men
but more white men have been executed
also i would rather die then sit in a cage for the rest of my life
(not that i would do anything to get there)

It is so much more expensive to execute an inmate than it is to house them. It costs millions in legal fee's to get through all of their appeals and about $30,000 a year to keep an inmate.

well tru capital cases are more money
but is that 30,000 on 23hr lockdown
or just gen pop kinda prison
im sure the 23 hr super max is a helluva lot more

is the only half safe way so they dont kill anyone else but they still can kill guards

And a injection of some sanity in the legal system will quickly solve the problem of endless appeals.

The jury that convicts the criminal should be allowed to give the death sentence. As a matter of fact that is how the system currently works. I'm for it.

well the system i thought wasnt working liek that
i think the supreme stopped all executions but im not 100 percent

No, the Supreme Court ruled that juries had to give the death sentence. All those on death row that were sentenced to death by a judge got new trials. Those who were sentenced by a jury are still on death row

I say excute them.A waste of my money if you ask me.With DNA and all that if it is a clear cut case just do it no B.S around just put them down.
