Debelius Fairy Wrasse

The Debelius Fairy Wrasse is commonly referred to as the Redfin or Koi Fairy Wrasse. The Debelius Fairy Wrasse is a reef safe species and can be kept in a tank including sessile invertebrates, and mollusk. The Debelius Fairy Wrasse does not harm corals, polyps or most invertebrates. The Debelius Fairy Wrasse grows up to 3 inches and should be kept in a tank not less than 50 gallons. The Debelius Fairy Wrasse needs intermediate care and makes a good choice for an experienced aquarist. The Debelius Fairy Wrasse is carnivore in nature and mainly feeds on meaty fleshy food items. The Debelius Fairy Wrasse is very peaceful in nature and should not be housed with predatory and aggressive fishes. The tank should contain plenty of rocks and caves to hide when required. The Debelius Fairy Wrasse is known to jump out of the tank, so it is better to keep it in a closed tank. Once it is acclimatized, the Debelius Fairy Wrasse can be fed a varied diet of flakes, frozen and fresh foods like copepods, Cyclopseze, brine shrimp, and Mysis shrimp.
