Jarre - my wife is on my guess because we only have 3 months of living expenses in savings - most of my friends and co-workers think we are insane. Especially since I drive a beat up old truck with no AC and it gets to be over 90 here in teh summertimes on a regular basis.
I remember reading somewhere that the average American couple has over $20K in accrued debt when they first get married ....
ahh just paid off school loans so aside from the minivan to tote the kids around we are just paying off the house ......
New carpet is the only thing standing between me and a beautiful RR 72 Gallon Bowfront show tank in the living room!!!

Sterling--There are a few of us on this BB who can attest to the shocking dollar amount tied to horses. I include myself in that group. The yearly $$$ is positively staggering.
