decorator crab reef safe?

i got a decorator crab and im wondering if he is ok with my zoas and shrooms? he is sticking pieces of sponge and some zoa's to himself. he has not tried to put any mushrooms on himself yet. any comments...........

from what i understand this is natural. its not his intention to hurt the zoas or sponges, he just wants camouflage. he should be fine after he gets some stuff on his shell.

i had one got rid of it , it will cut ur shrooms up to add to his back , i got lucky he made my one mushroom into 2 , but not worth the risk , very kewl crab , i just didn't like it when he shredded the shroom, (what he put on his back of the shroom died )
