do you guys think it would be cool if I build my rock up high and then have a mangrove growing out from the top?

breaching?? lol.. it looks really cool when you have the rock stick through the water too and get covered in salt creep... LOL... this one LFS had that idea and it looked great till it started getting covered in creep... I always hate on it now... I thought about doing the mangrove through the top thing, but its definitely been done before and it seems like something to knock over or break when you're trying to do stuff in the tank.

nah its not bad... think about this though... if you could rig an ATO to hang above the tank and trickle down the breached rock without looking ghetto.. it'd top off the tank, wash off the creep, and give you that awesome breached look...
just a thought.. it's gonna be hard to impliment and not look ghetto though...

ughh.. I just thought of something AWESOME!!!
might be hard to do though...
build up the rock and then have this 20degree stream thats pumped up from the bottom with a powerhead hidden in the rocks and has a bunch of holes drilled in the rock near the bottom to draw the water.... nvm.. can't tell ya everything...
this is gonna be my next project lol...

hmmmm... It would be hard bc my tank isn't drilled.
DO IT!!!! you can live out my dreams of having a mangrove growing out from the top lol
