I have heard very littler about them and am wondering if they work. does anyone have any expierance

I would like to know as well, I am very interested in this as my tank levels are always fine but the nitrates (blame the eels).

i have also read that they can lower or completely eliminate monthly water changes

i know a store that has them here in Roanoke i can ask about them i've seen it and read the box, but forgot what it says. I'll post after the next time i go there.

I remember a thread about this a few months ago. If I recall one of the mods. on here discussed these products. They are expensive and really dont work that well. You can get the same results with water changes and plant life in a fuge or the combination of the two. I cant remember who discussed this. Do a search under equipment/DIY. I know that nobody really had good things to say about them.
