desktop tank

I want to set up a small tank in my office and was wondering if its possible to set up a saltwater tank in one of the small 2-5 gallon desktop aquariums. If I only put 1 small fish in it or an invert such as a sea fan or crab or something. Would it work or would it be too much work

Daily evaporation would have a serious impact on the salinity. Unless you work all weekends and holidays then i would not recommend it.

thats kind of what I was afraid of. I dont want to have to take it back and forth all the time. Im hear alot of holidays but not saturday and sundays. I guess maybe I will just have to find a neat tropical although I dont like them nearly as much as saltwater. I have to out do my co workers sea monkeys though

Maybe talk your boss into a 300 gallon in-wall display.

Now that would be something. We dont have nearly enough room for something that large but I could live with a smaller desk and we could put the filing cabinets in the hallway!
