Hi!
I recieved an order yesterday with 3 emerald crabs,2 percula clownfish, and a chocolatechip starfish. I accumliated then like the intructions said to (drip method)
My starfish is laying on the bottem of my tank like my email said it would and it was raising its legs one at a time slowly but he looked ruff. i decided to give it some time. Well i woke up this morning and he is like desinigrating. little pieces are like coming off. i woke up 4 hours ago and have only seen him BARLEY raise one of his legs. my hermits are leaving him alone. thankfully and i have checked all my chemicals in my tank and they are just right. What do i do!

Aww...I'm sorry these signs don't look good. Desinigrating and or melting are all likely signs of death. If I were you I would Contact SWF.com and tell then whats happening!
Good Luck!

I would definately do what was suggested above but also take it out as much as possible and put it in your QT if you have one. This might help your chemical tests to stay correct in the short and long run.

I don't think theres anything you can do. I know it's terrible to just sit there and watch it die

You did order it from SWF.com right?

It is very important that you cover the item in a generous amount of table salt in order to preserve it in the return envelope. Send the item that didn't survived in a ziplocked bag (absolutely no water) inside an envelope. Place the item into a ziplock, pour the salt, coat the item with the salt, close the ziplock and then place that into another ziplock bag and close it. Then place it in the envelope with your email receipt or a sheet of paper with your name and order number on it. If you do not follow these directions the US Postal Service may throw out your envelope due to smell and we cannot issue you a credit.
