Devil's Finger getting white???

My devil finger was fine and then all of the sudden it turned white and shrank a bit???? What is up with it??? is it dead or dying?? any help would be good!!!

everything is fine now...it was wierd it turn all white and then it just went back to normal. i don't know what happen. oh well we will see.

Glad to hear that after 2+ hours its back to normal I dont own one, so couldn't say what may of happened.

My finger leather opens up when I turn on the light, and closes up when the lights are off. They don't stay open all the time. Is this something that you just bought? It could be that it's still trying to aclimate, or maybe it's about to shed. If it's about to shed (it might look waxy), putting it in front of a good current will help with that.

it already shed. i think it was just closed and i never saw it like that. i've had it for awhile now. thanks for the advise!!!
