??Devils Hand ?? PIC..

This is my newest addition to my 30 gal. My question about this coral is how long befor he should start opening up? I got him from my LFS on 12/03/07 monday and he looked very healthy. I have other corals and they are all doing very well. All of my perameters are at zero, temp. 75-78, cal. 440 ph 8.1-8.2. Please let me know if this is to be expected.

I thought I talking about my coral?? I've had my tang for 7 mths. and he is not complaining and seems very happy...

I've had mine for a few months and it opens and closes regularly now but i remember at first it acted like yours. I would think it should open in the next few days or so. It usually takes a few days for these guys to get used to your lighting and flow.

what type of light was he under at the LFS? what type of light is it under now?
also...about the tang...he really does need a bigger tank then a 30g...eventually the lack of swimming room will lead to stress and possibly ick...
