This is going to be short and to the point, I hope no one minds. But Teresa has asked me to post the instructions, and I agree with her it should help to have a thread to point to...
There isn't one right way to deworm fish. What I usually suggest is more or less the protocol that Dr. Martin Belli (Labdoc) gave me. It uses three different readily available dewormers (in the States, at least) that each are effective against different IPs. Each is used over the course of 3 weeks in an attempt to kill IPs that might otherwise be missed (by being encysted) with the use of only a single dose. The meds need to be fed to the seahorse (you are trying to target internal parasites afterall), typically via adult brine shrimp, but they can be injected into other food items with varying degrees of success if needed.
Each med should be used on its own for three weeks (so you'll be deworming for a total of nine weeks), because the use of all 3 meds at once can cause the seahorse's system to be overwhelmed by the number of IPs dying all at once.
Weeks 1-3: One day each week, feed two meals of Praziquantel. For gutloading ABS, use a concentration of 10mL per gallon for 2 hours.
Weeks 4-6: One day each week, feed two meals of Metronidazole. For gutloading ABS, use a concentration of 1/4tsp per gallon for 2 hours.
Weeks 7-9: One day each week, feed two meals of Fenbendazole. For gutloading ABS, use a concentration of 250mg (2mL) per gallon for 2 hours.
Other preventative treatments for wild caught seahorses may also include freshwater dips and/or formalin baths for external parasites.
