Diamond gobies?

I bought a mated pair of diamond gobies yesterday. They were both staying right together sifting sand all evening. They both seemed very healthy. Now i get up this moring and the female is missing! Do you think she is just hideing? I am worried because last night they stayed beside each other all the time!!

she got mad at her husband for cheating really she's probaly just hiding if u dom't she her in the next 1-3 start looking for her under your rock

i will keep my eyes open and keep watching for her. I am going to be very dissappointed if she died!! I just LOVED watching them last night!

Have you checked around the tank? I had a pair also that lasted about a week. Came home from work to find one of them all dried up next to the tank. They are known jumpers.

Yes, look behind the tank..I too had a diamond that committed suicide. Such a shame...

I found her! She came out earlier and now they are both sifting sand together again!

Thats great news. I feed my diamond shrimp pellets (sinking) he loves them. He also eats any of the fishes food that he can get. Good luck with them.

Can you elaborate on the shrimp pellets, what brand? and pellet size, please

The shrimp pellets (OSI brand) are actually I believe for freshwater fish, but this is what I used to get him to eat. I use as a treat only. I also feed OSI ocean stars a marine food that is for lower fish and crabs (sinks). Try the shrimp pellets......better than going hungry.

I looked at the OSI SINKING PELLETS,, its remenisant of the SPECTRA PRODUCTS as well. Thanx
