diamond goby????

just got a new fish, and the guy at the lfs said it was a diamond goby... looks just like one, except the under side of this fish has like a purple/blue area on its bottom fins and stuff, cant get a picture cause my camera sucks any help would be great!

What kind of help are you looking for?
I believe there are color variations on the diamond spot gobys. They are active little sand cleaners, very entertaining and beneficial.

Just be careful they are known as jumpers.

im not sure if he is a diamond goby, i know they are jumpers. and i have not seen this guy clean the sand at all yet...

i wish you had a picture, but i think you got a longfinned sleeper goby?

no hes not a longfinned sleeper goby he looks just like a diamond goby, except all his spots are bronze and his bottom fins that he props himself up on are blueish

yeah hes an orange spot goby, did a google search of that type of goby and thats him... do they sift sand or not?
