I am having trouble suddenly with brown diatoms (brown algae). I have done extensive water changes, tried different filter media and cannot get rid of this. I have cleaned almost everybit of it out of my 29gal tank only to have it reappear by noon the next day. I am now trying to starve it away by not using my light. Unfortunately, I may loose my anemone in the process but I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?
