Did i mess up my membrane???

for some reason the water in my sink was coming out hot instead of cold is that gonna break my membrane????
when i turn the water off it dont make the psst psst psst sound!!!
like the water is getting sucked out!!!
is it broke
also if it isnt broke what do i do to drain all the chambers???

is water comming out of it? do you have a TDS meter to test the water that is comming out? Thats the best way if you test the water and you are getting zero TDS then the unit is fine.

how much do those cost, and what exactly does it do!!!!

you can get a tds meter for ~20 bucks online, check the big auction site and if they dont sell them here check airwaterice online.
