Dietary Suppliments

I've been seeing alot of threads on weight loss and working out and such. So I decided we need a thread on rating various supplements. I'll start by rating a few.
Whey Protien- this is the best stuff for packing on the muscle. 24g of protien per scoop is not to shabby if you ask me! and it tastes great too. When body building you need to take in 1g of protien for pound of bidy weight.
N.O. Explode- Gives you the extra pumps in the gym and really helps break through some of those though periods. Great Creatine mix!

my mom is an herb specialist and she knows her stuff.
if any one wants to know more about the natural products rather than doctor type/ laboratory made stuff you can contact her.
She can do so much stuff and she is really good if you have ANY questions about health or anything related you could contact her at:
jchnspinc@mynsp.com
www.mynsp.com/jch
there is this new combination of products that help your body with everything. and I could swear everything. that was sort of what my other threat was heading to.
They are called TCM(traditional chinese medicine) and they are concentrate so they are pretty strong and have done so much stuff to people that have used them.
with this stuff my acne disappeared in a week just by taking these things. I know 5 women that have gotten pregnant with these things(including the husband). and much more stuff that I can't put all right now since I have stuff to do.
ANY QUESTIONS
contact her
she'll be more than happy to help

My mom is asking what kind of health problems do you have k
such as problems from tyroid gland, kidney, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.
if you want to discuss this outside of swf.com you could contact her @ jchnspinc@mynsp.com

Exercise. Healthy foods. Smaller portions.
Honestly, it's the healthiest way to go unless you are obese. Which if that's you in the picture, your not and it doesn't even look like you need to lose any weight. I'm definitely not skinny, but I don't understand what the aversion to exercise and a healthy diet is if you want to lose weight. If you are already doing those things and still cannot lose weight then you are probably at the weight that is appropriate and healthy for you.
And what do people know about how well vitamins actually work. I asked my dad (who's a doctor) about them and he said he didn't know anything about them. I've heard they don't work or they don't work nearly as well as getting them from a natural source, but I don't have anything to back that up.

no matter how your getting your vitamins, you will reap the benifits. However if you take too many they will just go to waste. Once the body gets enough of a vitamin to function properly, the body disguards the remaining through urination..i believe.

I want to lose 10 lbs... I don't have any problems. I think I'm just going to go on weight watchers.

do you have kind of like a belly, she says that if you have a belly it's not fat that you have, it's the waste thats in your intestine. that you haven't pooped out .lol.and for that you have to clean your intestine. Also how many times do you (poop) per day. Do you have constipation. since the mayority of health problems develop from the intestine because you don't poop, the poop intoxicates the blood and soon the body and thats where, like I said, most of the health issues occur, and it is highly recommended for everyone to clean their intestine.
Also she has to know what type of blood type you are, because depending on the blood type that you are you can't eat certain foods.
(they did research on this and they had people who had poop inside of them for 15 years) we've got photos if anyone wants to see them.

Not to take this discussion away from supliments, but I just have to throw out there that I love weight watchers. It's really hard to stay on once you've lost the first wave of fat, but it's a really good diet.
And I'm not sure exactly what I'm talking about vitaminwise, I don't really know the difference between any of them. Are the natural ones effect but not the others or something?

did you do the core or flex plan? I know I would never be able to do the core plan... it's way too strict. The flex plan looks great... because I can eat anything I want...in moderation that is.

I do the core plan. It ends up being a good amount of food once you get used to it and if you exercise that really helps you both lose more weight and be able to eat more. My main issue is not eating healthy food but portion moderation so I need the points, but I definitely see the merits of the flex plan as well. I did it w/my roomate last year and she lost 15 lbs and I lost 10 and then we had a bit of a laps and I've just stayed at the same weight intead of losing (which is a lot better than gaining!). I love weight watchers though because it's so practical and it's something you can stay on the rest of your life. There's a weight watchers board just like this one, I haven't really checked it out except for the 0 pt soup recipe, but if for nothing else I bet it's a really good place to find recipes.

Your mom is correct. One thing she left out is water. Drink a glass of water before you eat and you will be less likely to over eat.
Water is also the largest nutritional deficency in the USA. One Dr once joked that the main bennifit of the multi vitamine is that people drink it with water.
One supplement that works; but, can dehydrate you is creatine. It is also a caffeine antagonist so if you take it cut back on caffeine or your just waisting you money. You can also get some caffeine withdrawel headaches.

Sweet, I'll definitely check out the recipe website...and drink a glass of water while I'm at it! I definitely don't drink enough.

also, at night when you have the urge for a midnight snack, brush your teeth. That minty taste will make many foods taste bad, and you wont feel like eating.

True that, once I've brushed my teeth I'm too lazy to brush them again, so in a way, being lazy helps me lose weight! whoo hoo!
