Different nass. snail question

Hiya,
Got a bunch of nass snails in today. However, I have a feeling they're going to have problems with my substrate. Its argonite, but it's not a fine powder, almost like a small crushed stone size. I wouldn't call it CC. Will my snails be able to burrow into it?

Probably not. I have a mix of CC and LS. But youd be surprised at the strength of these little guys. Their foot is amazingly strong. Its fun to watch them burrow.

Hiya,
Well, darn! Will it hurt them to be above "ground" all the time if they can't get under it? There's some places that they can get under my base rock. I've also seen one of them climb the glass.

Yeah, feeding time in my tanks always reminds me of a zombie flick, with the little beasties climbing out of the sand to feed. There's something really spooky about the way they do it, imho.
