Digital camera

I am looking for a digital camera under $300 dollars and i was wondering if there was and camera out there that takes good pics for that amout of money. If you have one please tell me which kind it is and maybe a pic or two.

bhphoto.com sell their nikon coolpix 5700 for about 739 but it comes with a 150 dollar rebate making the price 589

I think the Cannon G3 is about that price now. Excellent camera. Do a seach here on G3 and you will see some of our pics.
bhphoto.com is a good place to start.

i got a canon powershot A75, auto and manual focus,
10x zoom optical and digital combined, digic, movies, print/share, pictbridge, 3.2 mega pixels. you can buy lenses to attach to it, and an under water casing that goes to a depth of 85 feet. this camera has everything i need. it can be set up for underwater pics, foliage, indoor, outdoor, and much, much, more. it also has macro.
i paid $ 269.00, total. go to circut city they have them. i git mine at a camera store, but like i said , circut city has them.

check out the fujifilm finepix s3000, its what i have.. i got it for $299
and it takes very nice pics.. heres a cool shot i took with it the other day
