Dirty Individual Reflectors

I have a Tek t-5 unit and my reflectors are getting hazy or fogy in patches where the salt dries on them. I know there is some splashing although minimal that creates salt on them. I have to run topless due to heat. After I clean the reflectors off I notice a splotching almost like a darkening of the metal not rust, just a splotching. Can I use anything to shine it back up? I dont want to diminish the light its only a 4x24 watt Tek T5 fixture over a 28 gallon.. So i need all the reflecting power I can get, when I shine a flashlight on them I think I can see a little less reflection on those spots.

Any good metal polish should work, like Noxon or Twinkle. Just make sure you take the lights AWAY from the tank before using. You definitely dont want to get any of this stuff in your tank.
