Disappearance

I recently purchased a few percs and in the morning, I noticed that I was missing one of these clownfish. There is not a trace of fish anywhere in or out of the tank. My only thought would be that my pistol shrimp is guilty of this crime. I am sure that it is a pistol and not a mantis! Does anyone else have experience with this topic? Please help, your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have had fish dissapear and if you can't find them and they did not jump out of the tank then maybe part of your clean up crewtook there body under a rock.

I would have to agree with mlm ...that is waht happenend to me! One of my percs got stressed during the move and burried itself in a crevasse in a rock, where it eventually died. As I tried to figure out how to go about removing it from this little crack in the rock near the bottom of my tank my brittle star came along and is doing its job of removing debris and keeping the tank clean. I prefer to remove dead fish and returning them for a refund, I guess this time nature tooks its course. I added a smalled perc the next day and they are both doing well and happy.
