Disco in my tank!

After a lengthy bout with green AND red algae, the Phosban is working! When I siphoned off some of the dying algae during my cleaning today, I noticed nothing but live rock.
However, when the lights came on, I noticed THIS- THIS- neon DISCO on the rock!!! Can anyone tell me what it is & if it's good or bad? (Sorry if the pic doesn't come through correctly- preview isn't showing it)

LOL. Sorry to tell you that this is just another algae. Its called coraline algae. The good thing is, its sought after in the saltwater hobby.

LOL This is the craziest coralline I've ever seen! I have plenty of the purple-ish reddish, but this is fluorescent! YAY- not something bad!! Thanks for the good news!

That is very pretty! I'm assuming it was taken with the actinic (blue) lights on, only?
Solarscar, you are funny! Just another algae

No, R/O. I have a funny feeling I got a bad batch of salt, since my water has always tested fine (I refill gallon jugs). I've recently switched salt to Oceanic & started testing my water after I mix & cure it, instead of before. Plus, it's a 15 gal tank, so when things start to go wrong, they go wrong REAL quick! I'm just glad that the algae is going away & my tank is so healthy & happy it's doing the hustle!

Oh, and Poniegirl , yes that's actinics only. I had to turn the daylights off when Honey got home so he could see the outrageousness of it!
