Discovered a shrimp in my LR

I'm in the process of moving... I'm only moving a 55g, but it's a lot of work.
I took all my LR out in a plastic container and i brushed the green algea off with several toothbrushes. Then i took the container outside to empty it. I forgot to filter the water to save some snails and hermit crabs.. so i had to look through the mud to find them, and i saw a shrimp or something similar. it look like a mantis shrimp to me... first time i've ever seen it. It was pretty cool, but i didnt want to put it back in the tank so, it's in a pitcher of water for now.. Can someone ID it and tell me if it's benefecial or harmful.

Looks to me like some kind of pistol shrimp. If so, it is not harmful.

i thought it was a pistol shrimpp at some point too. How big do they get ?

Mantis keep their claws tucked in like a praying mantis.
