discovery cove in orlando.

my wife is graduating from college soon and i was thinking of taking her to dicovery cove.
has any one been there???
how was your experiance???
just wanting to know other people's experiances....

beyond awesome!! Def worth the money. A great day and the dolphin swim is great. Our dolphin wanted to play with my daughter and was being mischevious until we were told to look away from him.

yeah my wife is a dolphin freak. we were out at boca grande and a pod of dolphins were aroud the boat. she was like a little girl on christmas morning. i loved watching her like that, so thought this would be a great gift for her..

Such an awesome experiance... I mean words really can't describe it. You get to be with the dolphins for about 45min. and you get a ride on one too. You can swim with stingrays and well you definatly go.

I was totally like a kid on xmas morning.
We spend a few weeks in the same area in Florida every year. Last year I hit the trifecta in ocean experiences. I was taking my usual walk on the beach. I went into the water to cool off and saw a HUGE shadow. People started leaving the water. I was puzzled about the speed of the shadow. I stepped back far enough to figure out what it was and then ran back in. I came within inches of a gorgeus manatee and her calf. OMG!!!
Then a few days later I was on my raft and felt something looking at me....my daughter started some hand gestures to look behind me. Low and behold a few dolphin were spying on us being bums on rafts.

My hubby and son were fishing off a pier and my son caught a little sting ray.
I was in tears until the poor thing was back in the water.

So needless to say I can't wait for another experience at Discovery Cove.....
maybe next summer.

I went when I was young and dived in the fish pool thing and went to the aviary(sp?) but I remember it was pretty cool and I want to go there again now that I could probably name most of those fish in there.
