disgusting film

In my 10 gal nano, everything is doing great. The live rock has really flourished and bloomed, if you can say, and the water quality is great. One odd thing tho, on the surface on the tank, a film continues to grow, and no matter how many water changes or agitation on the surface, it returns. WHY and how do I stop it?

Do you have a overflow or a skimmer with an overflow?

You need one. Occassionally something airborne can settle on the surface,or something released from the water can't fully escape. You can make your own overflow with a cup and just draw away surface water or try dabbing the surface with absorbant paper towels(not scented or treated of course).
