i really like looking and learning about all the stuff that lives in peoples sumps and thought it would be neat to just have a display of this stuff. i wont get the tanks drilled because its at my own risk.! i will have to go with the over flow way. i saw this pump i think it said mag 9.5 it works either in the water or out. i am thinking i will put it in the 55 display fuge on the bottom rack and use pvc as a return with a water shut off valve so i can controol the folw, and get a hang on overflow to drain from the display tank to the display fuge. im just not sure if the 9.5 thing will multch up the little bugs and stuff and send them up to the display tank!

shouldn't be a problem. You probably should cut a couple pieces of lexan and silicone it into your bottom tank so that you won't have a ton of bubbles coming from your overflow and you can partition off a space for your pump.
Depending on what kind of external overflow you are buying, make sure that a 9.5 is going to match up with it. If not, a lot of bubbles can form in the siphon tube and break the siphon... which is definately a bad thing.
