disposing of fish

i know that this is a dumb question but when a fish dies how do you dipose of him?

I usually cook mine up with some garlic butter...
Other options:
Throw it into the garbage can
Feed it to your cat
Give it a royal flushing sendoff (ever get rid of a goldfish with a kid?)

I usually flush but last time I did it to my pink tail trigger and he got stuck in my toilet. I had to have it snaked out. Be careful of the size.

I haven't lost a fish yet but I have an empty lot near me and when I dispose of fish that I've filleted I dig a small hole and bury it.

For me it depends. If the fish jumps out of the tank, the dog usually takes care of it for me before I even see it.
Most of the time I've not even had to remove it. By the time I see it, the cleanup crew has usually finished with it so there is nothing to remove.
When I do remove one, I usually put it in the freezer then put it in the garbage on trash day.
