Does anyone know if distilled water sold from the local drug store (duane reade, CVS) is sufficent for SWF? Does it have a lot of phosphates? I dont have access to a water store or a car to pick up gallons of reverse osmosis water.

I buy my distilled water from walgreens its like CVS, and it tests pure and there are no phosphates or nitrates..

The distilled should be fine. Just test it for phosphates if you are concerned about it containing phosphates.

One more thing distilled water doesn't contain, dissolved oxygen. Aerate before use.
