On the subject of Manson, someone said he was up for parole in 2010. He's not in for a murder charge or anything, is he? Didn't he just get a bunch of other people to kill, but never did any killing himself? I have always wondered but never bothered to look it up.
Both. The majority of his crime was organizing others to kill. I don't know his full list of charges. I am sure you could Google it though.

I wonder if that is the same one that I watched. I guess I shouldn't point out that they said he is eligible for parole in 2010.
My son thought I was weird for watching it. Soooo the next day at school he gets the "Helter Skelter" book, brings it to my class, with all of my students there, and says, "Hey mom, since you like Charles Manson so much I found this book for you." I could have hid in a corner
He made it look like I study Manson an all he stands for... I just watched one show LOL
Aw thanks Sep!!!!! I did not see that part (probably because I got scared and didn't watch it all
)
But hey, I guess your son got you back for me!

Manson has been up for parole numerous times, and made it to the board. Problem is, he is still such a stupid psychodelic that every board has turned him down. If you ever get a chance, watch some of his parole board reviews. Then you will realize that you never have to worry about this dude seeing the light of day again.

I thought I had read it in the paper before. Alright so I wasn't losing my mind. It was about ten years ago.

Yeah, when you show up for your parole hearing with a homemade swastika tatooed on your forehead, the chances are pretty small that you will get parole.

WOW!!
What was with the Swastika? From what I saw it was mostly racial in the late 60's-early 70's. I don't know his whole life story though.
