diverse enough diet for an Angel?

Hey guys,
I currently feed my Koran, tomato clown, and blue damsel a rotation of blood worms, mysis shrimp, and brine shrimp. I also sprinkle a few flakes in as well. I used to include Angel formula, but it seems now the angel doesn't like it. I soak all the above in Zoe at every feeding. I know the angel needs sponge matter, what should I do? He barely eats the angel formula at all. I think he likes the live appearance of the others, vs the clump of angel formula. any ideas?

My two angels aren't the biggest fan of Angel Formula either but they will nibble at it. I would cut down on the brine and blood worms a bit and add Formula 1 and especially Formula 2 to their diet.

Oops, sorry Pearl, I didn't mention they are all frozen. I wish I could afford live foods that often...I will start adding a bit more formula 1 and 2. I was on a heavy rotation of about 7 different frozen foods, but started cutting out the formulas and angel due to their liking of the worms and shrimp.

I think you are talking about frozen and not live foods. Dont worry to much about the sponge in the diet, but definately get some green algae in it. Green seaweed selects and O.S.I spirulina flakes are good sources.

Flakes are ok but not as good as seaweed. It is not too messy. My angel takes huge gulps at a time. I have found it is best for me to let it soak in vitamins or water until it is very soft. It can be taken off in smaller pieces then and the fish eat more and spit out less. It seems if it is not soaked enough it tears into big pieces that float off, but when its really soft it will come off in small bite size pieces. I would use both. The flake has some spirulina in it but also has many fillers.
